RE-HABBING WITH THE RUN/WALK TECHNIQUE

It's gotta happen, sooner or later something pops, crunches, or just becomes too painful to stand on.

You're a Runner, you're going to overdo it.

NOW WHAT??

There are many Re-Hab approaches, but the Galloway 4/1 Run/Walk Technique is an Excellent way to continue to train, and not further damage yourself.

The approach is Simplicity Itself.

You start by walking 4-minutes to warm up, then run 4-minutes with a 1-minute Walk Break in between.

The hardest part?? DOING IT.

It's quite difficult to make yourself walk during a run, and frankly, you may have to Force yourself to do the first work-out.

The Advantage??

Hey, you're still running (sort of),

think of these as Sets, after the first couple of Walk Breaks, you'll notice a more normal pace and it Actually begins to Feel like Exercise.

After 38-years of re-habbing various injuries, I have found this is the Best Re-Hab Technique to get you back out there and doing what you love.

When you can run again, Fuggittaboudit.......Enjoy your Run.

But File it away for next time.
